About the role

  • Manage the scheduling program within the Data Center market
  • Ensure schedules are produced, maintained, updated and issued regularly throughout project duration
  • Monitor schedule trends and alert management of potential positive or negative effects
  • Assist with project strategy related to schedule during proposal development
  • Develop comprehensive baseline schedules with site teams and trade partners to meet key milestones
  • Prepare executive schedule update narratives and market performance reports
  • Develop construction sequencing to help project teams plan efficient workflows
  • Assess project schedules to identify and mitigate scheduling conflicts
  • Lead and hold scheduling team members accountable to Gray's policies and procedures
  • Supervise scheduling staff and manage scheduling resources
  • Travel as required for project work and collaboration

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience
  • Experience in the Construction Industry
  • Experience in managing scheduling staff on multiple projects
  • Comprehensive understanding of civil, structural, architectural, and MEP scope of work
  • Understanding of the design process relative to the project schedule
  • Comprehensive understanding of project administration including the submittal process, change management, and change order processes
  • Knowledge of schedule logic, predecessors, successors, and float
  • Understanding of earned value management
  • Ability to cost and manpower load schedules
  • Proficiency with schedule software including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
  • Ability to develop comprehensive baseline schedules in collaboration with site teams and trade partners
  • Ability to prepare executive schedule update narratives and reports for market performance
  • Ability to develop construction sequencing to plan efficient workflows
  • Ability to assess project schedules to identify and mitigate scheduling conflicts
  • Energetic, self-motivated, enjoys a team environment
  • Passion for collaboration and professional development
  • Supervisory experience (will have supervisory responsibilities for scheduling staff)
  • Willingness to travel
