About the role
- Support the overall execution and management of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Assist with project setup, subcontractor buyout, cost tracking, scheduling, and coordination of day-to-day site activities
- Ensure job cost control, material and equipment tracking, and productivity monitoring
- Collaborate with project managers, field teams, subcontractors, and clients to drive projects forward on time and within budget
- Develop, update and monitor job progress using QMS program
- Perform quantity take off(s), cost estimates and bid solicitation
- Purchase and coordinate delivery of materials
- Review and approve invoices and change orders
- Attend weekly job site meetings
Requirements
- Fluent in Japanese (speaking, reading, and writing)
- Bachelor’s degree in construction science, construction management, engineering, or related field
- 3 years of experience, or 7 years of construction related experience and/or training
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, MS Project, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, CMIC, or similar project management software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Effective planning, resource management, and project scheduling skills
- Attention to detail with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement
