About the role
- Oversee major projects in the Food and Beverage Market
- Coordinate all phases of project management from initiation to completion
- Ensure adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards
- Foster relationships with owners, vendors, and subcontractors
- Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance and support
- Participate in project meetings to discuss progress and address challenges
- Monitor project execution and resolve any issues that arise
- Implement safety programs and quality management systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
- Minimum of ten years related experience and/or training
- Minimum of seven continuous years total profit and loss accountability on multiple projects
- Minimum of five years’ experience managing all disciplines for design/build projects
- Knowledge of all contracting methods such as lump sum, GMP, cost plus construction management and fee-based construction
- Proven record in increasing project profitability on multiple projects
- Managed all project activities on a minimum of three projects in excess of ten million dollars in construction costs; or one project in excess of 50 million dollars
- Knowledgeable in technical aspects of engineering and design disciplines
- Management of projects involving procurement or installation of process or production equipment exceeding two million dollars for each project
- Experience in managing the development of proposals
- Ability to mentor and/or train other project staff,
- Experience in preparing cost estimates for design/build projects in the industrial arena
