About the role
- Supports the coordination of interrelating activities of trade partners, suppliers, vendors, and customers
- Responsible for organizational, leadership, communication, management, and problem-solving skills on the project(s)
- Monitors and reports on the financial status of the project(s)
- Heavy involvement in the development of job progress schedule
- Purchases and monitors delivery of all needed materials
- Negotiates contracts with trade partners and vendors
- Reviews and approves trade partner and vendor payment requests
- Evaluates change order requests from trade partners
- Works with design and engineering teams to ensure projects are designed, procured, and constructed correctly
- Prepares and presents various reports to manage the project(s)
- Organizes and maintains job files
Requirements
- Minimum of six years of experience in construction management
- Technical knowledge and experience supporting projects in a Project Manager I role or equivalent
- Preference for candidates with a bachelor’s degree in a related field (Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture)
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office and innovative programs/software
- Energetic, self-motivated individual who enjoys a team environment
- Passion for collaboration and professional development
