About the role
- Coordinate project safety and accident prevention programs for industrial construction job sites.
- Enforce the use of safety equipment/clothing as required by OSHA and company safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements on project site.
- Maintain appropriate safety records and ensure neat, safe work areas.
- Investigate incidents and complete necessary reports.
- Conduct daily safety meetings and provide jobsite specific training.
- Implement and enforce Gray’s safety program on site.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR 5+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- OSHA 30 Hour card.
- Experience in an industrial construction environment is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of safety/environmental principles and techniques.
- Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite programs.
- Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
- Energetic, self-motivated individual with a passion for collaboration and professional development.
