About the role
- Review design proposal criteria and facilitate preparation of proposal documents
- Provide research regarding the project design
- Consults with customer to determine functional and spatial requirements
- Prepare layout of project and integrates engineering elements into unified design
- Responsible for quality assurance and quality control of design documents
- Prepare and administer design contracts with the customer and/or sub-consultants
- Facilitate design reviews and presentation of current design documents
- Coordinate design activities with customers and Gray AES sub-consultants
- Facilitate preparation of schematic and construction documents
- Develop design schedule and estimate of A/E costs for projects
- Monitor project design activities for compliance
- Manage all administrative tasks related to design for the project
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
- Minimum of seven years related experience and/or training
- Basic computer skills including AutoCad applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willing to train team members
Benefits
