About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as advanced support for the rest of the support team and the primary point of contact with partners on high-level issue resolution and workflow edge-cases, primarily focused on digital video
Communicate resolutions internally and externally
Act as a liaison to the digital technology team for bug fixes and feature requests
Manage and support partner platforms, including but not limited to ArcXP and Quickplay
Configure video stream/playout/channels
Update XOS encoder HLS credentials as needed
Define parameters for stations and properties in QuickPlay
General station support
Onboard new products
Participate in special projects as needed
Participate in weekday on-call support as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

Education: College degree or equivalent job experience in digital systems.
Must have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, web-based CMS user interfaces, and digital platforms.
Knowledge of HLS video manifest composition
Knowledge of video signal flow, encoding parameters
Knowledge of video encoding hardware
Must have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and be willing to learn a variety of digital systems.
Experience: 3+ years of digital experience on a broadcast team is a plus.
Forward-looking approach to tasks and assignments.
Strong desire for continued growth and learning.
