Systems Engineer

• Develop and own major game systems in a brand new IP. You’ll drive the creation and interaction of systems that reward and engage players while driving meaningful social interactions.
• Use your creative and technical skills to create playable prototypes that give insight into how your designs will affect the game when it has millions of players.
• Give meaningful feedback on all aspects of the game by being an advocate for players at every possible opportunity.
• Emphasize playable prototypes and iteration on playable experiences over extensive design documentation and theorycrafting.
• In order to make a game that players love, you will react to feedback from regular internal playtests and external focus tests as you see fit.
• Help create an inclusive and collaborative development culture within the team.
• NOT be encouraged to crunch or work overtime.

Systems Designer

Producer

• Support one or more cross functional groups with goal-setting and task tracking.
• Collaborate with the production team on other team operations like retrospectives, playtests, calendars, chat channels.
• Champion clarity and progress. Foster alignment on priorities and direction across disciplines.
• Work with the production team to improve & refine our task management and reporting systems.
• Work on a mid-sized team (max 85), so you’ll fill a lot of gaps like an indie, but coordinate a lot of stakeholders like a AAA.
• NOT crunch or work overtime.

Associate Producer

Engineer

• Contribute to all areas of code as part of a strong generalist engineering team.
• Write C++ and script to modify existing low level Unreal Engine features or create entirely new ones.
• Contribute ideas to enrich our game and the world in our new IP.
• Give meaningful feedback on all aspects of the game by being an advocate for players.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Emphasize iteration on getting features and playable experiences stood up over siloed work.

Engine/Core Engineer

Frontend Engineer

• Work closely with our UI/UX Artist to translate layouts, flows and motion concepts into fully functional game interfaces.
• Implement complex UI systems and drive UI pipeline improvements in Unreal Engine 5 using our internal text based scripting language and Blueprints.
• Optimize UI for performance, memory use and scalability across target platforms.
• Contribute to all areas of code as part of a strong generalist engineering team.
• Create functional prototypes to validate interaction patterns and edge cases early.
• Maintain and enforce UI coding standards, best practices and documentation.
• Give meaningful feedback on all aspects of the game by being an advocate for players at every possible opportunity.
• Help create an inclusive and collaborative development culture within the team.
• NOT be encouraged to crunch or work overtime.
