About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Adjust gluing machines to process flat carton orders
Oversee production and maintain machine speed
Detect and address malfunctions quickly
Supervise crew working on gluer machinery
Train feeder/catcher trainees as necessary
Perform maintenance duties on gluer machinery
Maintain records of quality and production using SAP and Ignition software
Make labels according to customer specifications
Teach and help fellow operators troubleshoot issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

1-2 years of machine operator experience required
Mechanical/technical aptitude
Entry-level computer skills
All requirements for Machine Gluer Operator in addition to the ability to set up and troubleshoot Leary, Mactron, Alpina, and Pafra glue systems
Feeder/Inspector experience preferred
Mechanical experience is helpful (automotive, small engine repair, etc.)
Required to provide your own tools.
