About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Adjust gluing machines to process flat carton orders
  • Oversee production and maintain machine speed
  • Detect and address malfunctions quickly
  • Supervise crew working on gluer machinery
  • Train feeder/catcher trainees as necessary
  • Perform maintenance duties on gluer machinery
  • Maintain records of quality and production using SAP and Ignition software
  • Make labels according to customer specifications
  • Teach and help fellow operators troubleshoot issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1-2 years of machine operator experience required
  • Mechanical/technical aptitude
  • Entry-level computer skills
  • All requirements for Machine Gluer Operator in addition to the ability to set up and troubleshoot Leary, Mactron, Alpina, and Pafra glue systems
  • Feeder/Inspector experience preferred
  • Mechanical experience is helpful (automotive, small engine repair, etc.)
  • Required to provide your own tools.
