About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Safely and efficiently facilitates the cutting process of printed product.
Experienced in duties of qualified Sheet Fed Cutting Operator, including make readies and operation.
Experienced on cutting machinery similar or same as Sheet fed cutting equipment such as: Bobst 162 CER, Bobst 1600 ER, Bobst 103, and Bobst 126-BMA.
Verify proper job before feeding the press.
Proper press maintenance and lubrication.
Provide daily quality checklist when inspecting pallets after cutting.
Perform make ready and preventive maintenance activities.
Able to run job with embossing inline.
Keeps daily time and materials usage reports and records information in PEAK.
Disassembles machines to perform minor repairs or replace broken or worn parts, using hand tools.
May perform hand packing as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience operating hand jacks, electric pallet jacks and forklifts preferred.
Excellent attendance, able to work independently and perform essential duties satisfactorily.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Company issued Fork Truck Operator’s License
