About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support daily and breakdown maintenance activities
- Provide process control engineering and configuration resources for capital projects
- Monitor control system reliability and process variability
- Lead software upgrades to the mill DCS systems
- Develops and leads preventive maintenance and troubleshooting procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Configuration and troubleshooting experience with DCS and PLC systems
- Ability to create and review DCS, QCS, and PLC documentation
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent manufacturing experience)
- 8+ years experience in an industrial maintenance organization
- Thorough knowledge of DCS and PLC concepts and application
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proactive problem solver
