About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for promoting, maintaining and implementing systems of accountability for health, safety and environmental excellence
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations and GPI guidelines
Oversee the prevention and/or correction of unsafe working and environmental conditions
Drive initiatives to improve safety awareness and efficiency
Develop and implement industry best practice systems for HSE programs while maintaining compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE in industrial manufacturing environment
Bachelor's Degree (Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental, Occupational Safety, or similar discipline)
Prior supervisory experience
Advanced safety or environmental certification, preferred
Software proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
