About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for promoting, maintaining and implementing systems of accountability for health, safety and environmental excellence
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations and GPI guidelines
  • Oversee the prevention and/or correction of unsafe working and environmental conditions
  • Drive initiatives to improve safety awareness and efficiency
  • Develop and implement industry best practice systems for HSE programs while maintaining compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE in industrial manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor's Degree (Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental, Occupational Safety, or similar discipline)
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Advanced safety or environmental certification, preferred
  • Software proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
