About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for providing leadership, guidance, direction and management for the Cutting Department during the various shift operations
Ensures production safety, quality and customer satisfaction goals are met
Initiates and supports all processes and ensures compliance with Six Sigma efforts
Responsible for managing the sheet fed line, rotary die cutting, rotary die sharpening areas
Plans, directs and manages operations to achieve operating goals and objectives consistent with plant and division objectives
Identifies cost reduction and continuous improvement opportunities in support of Six Sigma efforts
Establishes department goals in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, and employee development.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or related field with 5-8 years’ experience in converting operations
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to manage projects, resources and people and set and meet target disciplines
Ability to develop improvements, achieve budget/cost constraints
Supervisory experience preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook and internet.
