About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Leads daily electrical maintenance activity in support of (2) paper machines
Supervises 15 - 20 hourly employees
Manages by key performance indicators
Actively leads and participates in plant safety, housekeeping, 5S and lean manufacturing programs
Responsible for efficient preventive maintenance work scheduling and execution to optimize equipment
Coordinates with production colleagues to eliminate equipment failures
Participates in root cause failure analysis
Ensures compliance with all required Environmental, Health and Safety rules and regulations
Promotes safe work execution through daily safety briefing and monthly safety meetings
Performs rotating weekly maintenance on-call duty for the entire mill

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 3 - 5 years of electrical maintenance supervisory experience in related industries is required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organized work practices and attention to detail
Self-discipline and willingness to support colleagues unselfishly
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and a CMMS system preferably SAP
