About the role
- Provide technical support and leadership within the department
- Develop and implement best practices to improve safety, quality, productivity and cost reduction
- Develop specific performance parameters for machine operations
- Provide support for process improvement projects
- Analyze daily production and quality data, troubleshoot process and equipment issues
- Manage trials, assist in outage planning and operational scheduling
- Monitor departmental costs, develop capital project scope and budget
- Train hourly and salary personnel
Requirements
- Minimum of 0 -2 years work experience; pulp and paper industry preferred
