About the role

  • support the finance function in managing accounting tasks among all four GraphAware entities (UK, Czech Republic, Australia, Italy)
  • responsible for the accuracy of various financial transactions
  • data entry and bookkeeping
  • accounts payable/receivable
  • bank reconciliation
  • cash flow monitoring and payments processing
  • intercompany accounting
  • fixed assets
  • expense reports and expense approvals
  • tax preparation support
  • balance sheet and profit and loss review
  • month-end and year-end closing

Requirements

  • 0 to 3 years of experience in accounting, a university degree is an advantage
  • Fluent English and Czech/Slovak are a must (English is the main language in the company)
  • Knowledge of accounting procedures, IFRS is an advantage
  • International (accounting) environment experience or at least an understanding of the basic principles
  • Outstanding MS Office skills, and overall computer literacy
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organisational and analytical skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good understanding of different communication styles and cultural differences (previous experience of living/working abroad might be helpful to understanding our team dynamics)
  • Excellent time management skills
