About the role
- Assist with visiting the client location and analyzing accounting information
- Manage various project tasks at the same time
- Support business development activities
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Masters or Ph.D. in related fields preferred
- Six to ten years of experience in R&D tax credits; open to Fixed Asset or Tax Accounting Method experience
- Minimum of four years of experience in Accounting or Tax in public accounting or consulting
- CPA or JD/active attorney's license required
- Prior project management experience is required
- Strong understanding of federal and some state R&D rules and relevant court cases
- Intermediate understanding of tax return mechanics
- Familiar with amending tax returns
- Ability to manage time and multiple engagements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
