About the role
- Plan and execute user research studies such as contextual inquiries, user surveys, and usability tests.
- Analyze user requirements and business needs through use cases, user research, and user flows.
- Create design concepts, information architecture, wireframes, detailed user interface designs, interactive prototypes and user interface specifications for various applications.
- Work closely with development and testing teams in the implementation and testing of user interfaces.
- Create and maintain user experience guidelines and design standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UX design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience designing for B2B SaaS applications
- Experience in identifying UX issues
- Knowledge of UI/UX design best practices
- Planning & conducting user research (in Userlytics, Lyssna, etc.)
- Ability to make informed design decisions using qualitative and quantitative data
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD for creating high-fidelity mockups
- Understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
- Familiarity with WCAG accessibility guidelines
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Strong commitment to owning projects and seeing them through to successful completion
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to tailor communication to diverse audiences (clients, stakeholders, product leads, developers, etc.)
- Willingness to travel on occasion (around 5%).
