About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for overall direction and completion of construction projects ranging from $15 – $49 million
- Lead all phases of project delivery for federal clients
- Perform project revenue and cost financial forecasting
- Coordinate with estimators and project controls group
- Manage resources to meet project schedule
- Participate in bid reviews and evaluate project feasibility
- Develop comprehensive plan for project startup and kick-off
- Serve as primary project-level contact with federal clients
- Ensure compliance with federal contract requirements
- Provide environment for project communication and ensure proper job controls
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 5 to 10 years progressive project experience in heavy civil environments
- Minimum of 5 years experience in paving, dirt, and grading
- Required experience managing projects for NAVFAC, USACE, DoD, or other federal agencies
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, forecasting, and contract administration
- Experience managing multidisciplinary federal construction projects
- Experience working on military installations or secure facilities
- Proven success in leading project teams and managing complex projects
