About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Overseeing & coordinating preparation of individual proposals as assigned to ensure winning submissions
Coordinate the preparation of proposals as assigned with external and internal partners
Write and/or edit proposals as required
Maintain proposal databases as assigned
Prepare material and presenters for internal and external presentations
Participate in client debriefings and prepare summaries to ensure continuous improvement
Prepare marketing materials as requested

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Similar Field preferred
Five (5) years prior professional experience in technical writing and/or proposal preparation required
Prior experience in construction or engineering proposal preparation desirable
Ability to co-ordinate and manage personnel who are not direct reports through influence
Superior technical writing skills
Proficiency with all MS Office products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Highly organized
Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Works well independently or in a team environment
Ability to respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines
Ability to work effectively and efficiently in an unfamiliar environment
