About the role
- Promoting, developing, and selling water resources services
- Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with potential customers
- Developing and identifying prospects from current clients, referrals, leads, and other sources
- Preparing and issuing reports on prospect pipeline, current sales, forecasts, and market trends
- Planning and attending industry trade and convention shows to generate leads
- Maintaining contact with Project Managers and Operations personnel
- Developing an approach to the project and tailoring WRD products and services
- Preparing bid packages and recommending margins to meet strategic financial goals
- Utilizing CRM system for tracking and forecasting
Requirements
- BS Degree
- One + years of sales experience in water/wastewater or related industry
- Proficiency with all MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Knowledge of water well drilling/water management sales practices preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively disseminate information
- Ability to generate leads and close deals
- Public speaking and presentation skills a must
