About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead end-to-end analytics workstreams for assigned GXG customer engagements, from requirements definition through delivery, insight communication, and optimization recommendations
  • Design, build, and maintain measurement frameworks defining KPIs, success metrics, and performance benchmarks for government digital communication programs
  • Lead architecture, development, and optimization of dashboards and reporting solutions integrating multiple data sources
  • Own data accuracy, reliability, governance, and resolution of data quality issues across reporting systems
  • Define and champion analytics standards, reporting methodologies, and data governance best practices
  • Make independent decisions on analytical approaches, metrics frameworks, visualization strategies, and tool architectures
  • Author and maintain SOPs, analytics playbooks, reporting specifications, and knowledge-base documentation
  • Serve as primary analytics contact for customer engagements; lead requirements sessions and present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Mentor and coach junior analysts; conduct peer reviews and quality assurance of deliverables
  • Evaluate and introduce emerging analytics approaches, AI-enabled tools, and productivity technologies
  • Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and stand-ups
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer program outcomes and service delivery through data-driven recommendations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4–6 years of experience in a data analyst, analytics engineer, digital analyst, or reporting analyst role in a professional services, agency, or technology environment
  • Demonstrated ownership of analytics workstreams, measurement frameworks, or reporting infrastructure
  • Advanced SQL proficiency, including complex query design, data modeling, performance optimization, and multi-source dataset manipulation
  • Expert-level proficiency in at least one major BI platform: QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
  • Experience designing measurement strategies or analytics frameworks, including KPI definition and performance benchmarking
  • Experience communicating analytical findings and recommendations to senior or executive-level stakeholders, including government clients
  • Experience working across email, web, surveys, CRM, and social channels with cross-channel measurement design
  • Experience mentoring or coaching junior analysts, including structured peer review or quality assurance
  • Experience with AI-assisted analytics tools and productivity platforms, used responsibly within data governance requirements
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks in an analytics or data context
  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Preferred: experience in a digital agency, GovTech, or government-customer-facing analytics environment
  • Preferred: familiarity with government digital communications programs
  • Responsible for preserving the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Granicus information assets
  • Responsible for ensuring employee and customer data privacy and completing required privacy training
