About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support software delivery activities, including build, deployment, release, and environment management processes.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines used to build, test, and deploy applications.
- Provision, configure, and maintain infrastructure in cloud and hosted environments.
- Troubleshoot application, deployment, and infrastructure issues.
- Monitor system health, review logs, and support improvements in reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.
- Support infrastructure automation and infrastructure as code activities using approved tools and standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, support, and operations teams to resolve issues and improve delivery processes.
- Adhere to established security, compliance, and operational standards in all engineering activities.
- Participate in operational support or on-call activities, as required.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Foundational knowledge of DevOps concepts, including CI/CD, automation, infrastructure support, and system reliability.
- Basic experience with Linux and/or Windows administration, scripting, source control, and cloud infrastructure concepts.
- Familiarity with containers, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and troubleshooting fundamentals.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across technical teams.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, accountability, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced engineering environment
- Curiosity about applying AI tools responsibly in infrastructure engineering.
- Interest in developing, extending, and using MCP (Model Context Protocol) tools, APIs and associated skills.
