- Develop custom fine-tuning and prompt engineering strategies for foundation models to meet domain-specific needs.
- Explore innovative applications of generative AI in areas such as conversational agents, automated content creation, and citizen engagement platforms.
- Build scalable pipelines for model training, evaluation, and deployment on cloud and edge environments.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to embed generative AI capabilities into enterprise platforms.
- Conduct research and experimentation with emerging architectures (e.g., transformers, diffusion models, VAEs, GANs) to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Establish best practices for responsible AI, including bias mitigation, explainability, and ethical use of generative models.
- Communicate complex AI concepts to executives and non-technical stakeholders in a clear, actionable manner.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to frameworks, tools, and reusable components for generative AI development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related quantitative field.
- 7+ years of experience in data science, with at least 2+ years focused on generative AI or advanced deep learning.
- Proven expertise in LLMs, diffusion models, GANs, VAEs, and other generative architectures.
- Strong proficiency in Python and ML/DL frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers).
- Experience with fine-tuning foundation models, prompt engineering, and model optimization.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps for large-scale AI deployments.
- Strong understanding of data preparation for generative models, including text, image, and multimodal datasets.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with ability to influence AI strategy.
- Experience with multimodal AI (text + image + audio).
- Familiarity with RLHF (Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback) and alignment techniques.
- Knowledge of responsible AI principles, including fairness and interpretability.
- Contributions to open-source generative AI projects or published research.
- Prior work in government or public sector AI applications.
