About the role
- Partner with internal stakeholders across the CCO organization to understand business objectives, operational challenges, and analytics needs
- Translate ambiguous business questions into well-defined analytical problems, metrics, and success measures
- Develop executive-ready insights, narratives, and recommendations that drive action and alignment
- Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that support operational reviews, performance management, and strategic planning
- Develop and manage semantic models using Microsoft Fabric, ensuring consistency, scalability, and governance across analytics assets
- Apply best practices for data modeling, DAX, performance optimization, and user experience design
- Contribute to the design and maintenance of data pipelines within Microsoft Fabric, including ingestion, transformation, and orchestration
- Collaborate with data engineering partners to ensure data quality, reliability, and observability
- Support light architectural decisions related to datasets, models, and analytics layers
- Leverage Databricks where appropriate for advanced transformations or analytical workloads
- Apply quantitative and qualitative analytical methods to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities
- Support the implementation of AI-enabled analytics features
- Author and maintain clear documentation for datasets, dashboards, metrics definitions, and analytical methodologies
- Participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement of team processes
- Mentor junior analysts and model best practices for analytics development and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related analytics role
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and performance optimization
- Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Fabric (or equivalent modern analytics platforms)
- Solid SQL skills and experience working with structured and semi-structured data
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions
- Experience supporting internal stakeholders in a matrixed, cross-functional environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to technical and non-technical audiences
- Preferred Experience with Databricks or similar big data / advanced analytics platforms
- Foundational knowledge of data engineering concepts (ETL/ELT, orchestration, data quality)
- Familiarity with AI-enabled analytics, natural language querying, or embedded analytics use cases
- Experience working in agile development environments (Scrum, Kanban)
- Comfort with version control (e.g., Git), basic Python or R, and modern analytics workflows.
