About the role

  • As a Value Engineer for Agentic AI, you will be the strategic translator between Granicus’s AI capabilities and the real-world challenges faced by government agencies.
  • Work alongside sales, product, and customer experience teams to uncover opportunities, shape solutions, and quantify outcomes.
  • Lead discovery sessions involving the mapping of current state service delivery models to understand agency pain points, legal requirements, and service delivery goals.
  • Design agentic AI solutions that align with strategic priorities and demonstrate clear ROI.
  • Quantify impact through metrics like cost savings, call deflection, staff efficiency, specific programmatic outcomes, and resident satisfaction.
  • Translate complex AI capabilities into actionable business value for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with AI Solution Consultants to support demos, architecture, and integration planning.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on agentic AI, workflow automation, and public sector digital transformation.
  • Apply domain expertise to reimagine and automate services such as permitting, licensing, benefits enrollment, and public engagement.
  • Partner with agencies to align stakeholders, build consensus, and drive change management to support solution adoption.
  • Analyze customer data to identify trends, validate outcomes, and refine solution strategies.
  • Collaborate with Granicus Experience Partners and delivery teams to ensure the value promised in pre-sales is fully realized post-implementation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in public sector technology, consulting, or solution engineering.
  • Proven track record in value selling, business process automation, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Deep understanding of agentic AI, LLMs, and intelligent automation.
  • Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following: permitting/licensing, social programs, public engagement, or digital services.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence executive and operational stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated expertise in PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Mural, or other process and workflow mapping capabilities.
  • Preferred: Experience with platforms like Granicus, Accela, Infor, Tyler Technologies, Salesforce, or similar enterprise SaaS solutions.
  • Familiarity with government procurement, RFPs, and implementation cycles.
  • Background in change management, performance measurement, or civic innovation.
