About the role
- Lead the project to a successful conclusion by facilitating scope and managing customer expectations
- Monitor day-to-day execution and ensure the project is on schedule and within budget
- Maintain strong working relationships with project team members and key stakeholders
- Coordinate all phases of project life cycle including initiation, planning, execution, control and closing
- Plan and maintain project schedule with appropriate milestones and dependencies
- Prepare and track basic project budgets
- Lead and facilitate cost benefit analysis as appropriate
Requirements
- Four-year professional degree and/or comparable education & experience preferred
- One to five years’ experience in project management preferred
- Excellent written communication skills
- Excellent oral/presentation skills
- Insurance industry experience preferred
- Certifications (PMP or Agile) / training in project management desired
