About the role

  • Design, develop, and implement robust, scalable software solutions;
  • Develop RESTful APIs that meet high-performance and security requirements;
  • Implement automations to optimize processes and workflows;
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to understand and implement requirements;
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code;
  • Test and debug code to ensure quality and performance;
  • Contribute to discussions on patterns, architecture, methodologies, and other technology topics;
  • Share knowledge across the team about technologies, tools, concepts, theories, and techniques;
  • Develop custom, responsive WordPress themes/templates;
  • Create and maintain custom WordPress plugins;
  • Provide insights to improve performance, usability, and user experience;
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies, contributing ideas and suggestions for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of back-end development with PHP;
  • Experience developing and maintaining WordPress blogs;
  • Experience developing WordPress themes/templates;
  • Ability to develop and customize WordPress plugins;
  • Front-end development knowledge: React, Tailwind, TypeScript;
  • Experience with developing RESTful APIs;
  • Knowledge of databases (MySQL, Redis, DynamoDB);
  • Knowledge of Docker;
  • Knowledge of Git (Gitflow);
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Proactivity, analytical thinking, and the ability to propose solutions;
  • Ability to advocate for ideas that help the team make decisions;
  • Nice to have: Experience with Node.js and TypeScript; knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure; experience with GenAI tools and platforms.
