About the role

  • Work alongside chat agents to drive sales opportunities and self-serve revenue through the website
  • Take live chats with prospects to answer pre-sale questions and generate leads
  • Learn team’s tech stack and Grammarly’s plans, features, and narratives within first 30 days
  • Begin taking chats a few hours per day starting Week 2 and take chats independently by 60 days
  • Run tests within chat and provide meaningful feedback on product, systems, and processes by month six
  • Consistently exceed quota by month nine and pursue opportunities for senior roles as team expands
  • Build a high-energy environment across the sales team and collaborate cross-functionally to improve chat effectiveness

Requirements

  • Previous 2+ years of support, pre-sales, or sales experience
  • Ability to think fast and make decisions quickly in live chat
  • Responsible and professional as prospects’ first interaction with Grammarly
  • Innovative and creative in improving chat reach and effectiveness
  • Analytical with ability to identify patterns and trends
  • Proactive, takes initiative and swift action to resolve problems
  • Emotionally intelligent and able to manage emotions of self and others
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Quick learner able to adapt to changing processes and systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance and to manage tasks across multiple projects
  • Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams
