About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead daily branch operations to ensure customer service and operational excellence
  • Provide customer service and direction regarding daily team activities
  • Clarify projects, priorities, and company strategy for team members and provide continued feedback
  • Improve operational metrics involving customer satisfaction, sales, safety, and operational improvements
  • Create a customer experience that supports retention and satisfaction
  • Provide direct feedback to strengthen or enhance operational skills
  • Monitor counter transactions and guide team members
  • Facilitate onboarding and ongoing training
  • Build work schedules to maintain productivity and staffing levels

  • Foster collaboration among Sales, Branch Network, Customer Service Centers, and Onsite Services teams
  • Respond to emergency customer calls after hours when needed
  • Report to an Operations Manager or Branch Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Minimum 3 years of customer service and sales experience
  • 2+ years of management experience in a customer service environment preferred
  • Competence using computers and software applications, including SAP
  • Ability to operate powered industrial equipment
  • Ability to communicate the branch vision to all employees
  • Ability to train people on processes, procedures, compliance, and product knowledge
