Key responsibilities & impact

Provide solutions and connect with walk-in customers using guidance, knowledge, and a winning attitude
Manage the entire customer experience, including product selection, accurate order entry, safely picking products, and safely loading customer vehicles
Maximize sales opportunities and encourage customer loyalty
Adapt communication style for email, phone, and in-person audiences
Pick, prepare, and stage will-call orders and shipping products
Prepare customer backorders and put away received stock
Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment
Perform inventory counts
Navigate computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse activities
Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain branch appearance standards
Follow safety guidelines and process standards, including use of personal protective equipment
Report to the Store Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

Flexibility to work any time within branch hours of operation
Safely lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier loads with assistance
Learn and operate powered industrial equipment
Learn and navigate different computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse activities
Agree to safety guidelines and comply with process standards, including wearing personal protective equipment
