About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform all Logistics functions, such as slotting and maintenance, on a daily basis to ensure optimal inventory management and space control in both bulk and bin/ Goods to Product (GTP) areas;
  • Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: New Item Inspection, Closing ER (Expected Receipts) / (Transportation Units) TU / STO's (Stock Transfer Orders) Exceptions, Replenishment, Max Quantity and Multi Location maintenance, PO (Purchase Order) cut report & TU data.
  • Perform all tasks of a Customer Service Associate including, but not limited to, monitoring Chatroom, order cancellation, providing branch and customer feedbacks to operations, addressing stock checks and branch inquiries, open order report VL06, failed order allocation & yard transfers.
  • Perform all TU/ER building for inbound trailers with a high level of efficiency and accuracy, including but not limited to: Daily yard and trailer priority reporting. Closing out trailers in Ryder & tracking detentions. Meet or exceed daily productivity, quality and safety goals.
  • General awareness of all sub-processes that support DC operations.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must have good communication skills written and verbal
  • Must have the ability to work in a team environment
  • SAP and EWM/MOVE experience preferred (or like systems)
  • Must be able to meet minimum performance expectations consistently
  • Must have a proven quality track record and passion for improving quality
  • Must display a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and good math skills
  • Problem solving and LEAN thinking skills to allow for continuous improvement to the inventory maintenance needs of the DC
  • Advanced Excel and access skills preferred.
  • Experience in building reporting and managing databases is a plus.
