About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct needs analysis to determine a match between the customer's requirement and Grainger's products or services
  • Engage Grainger resources to develop plan and timeline to implement solution
  • Drive implementation plan with customer
  • Check with customer to ensure needs are met
  • Leverage post-implementation success to gain more information from the customer about future needs
  • Maintain expertise in Safety Regulations and industry topics
  • Educate customers on changing market trends and technology and impact to their business
  • Investigate nonstandard solutions that will profitably satisfy a customer's needs
  • Expand customer understanding and use of Grainger's standard product and service capabilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of relevant EHS industry experience involving safety hazard analysis and mitigation, safety consulting or responsibility for overseeing safety programs
  • Bachelor's degree including the fields of Safety, Environmental Science, Public Health, or equivalent experience
  • CSP ideal
  • Experience conducting workplace assessments to prevent injuries / accidents and improve compliance
  • Knowledgeable of Safety, Health and Environmental strategies and practices to reduce or eliminate hazards and risks
  • Current working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry standards
  • Basic project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • A desire to help others
