About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct needs analysis to determine a match between the customer's requirement and Grainger's products or services
Engage Grainger resources to develop plan and timeline to implement solution
Drive implementation plan with customer
Check with customer to ensure needs are met
Leverage post-implementation success to gain more information from the customer about future needs
Maintain expertise in Safety Regulations and industry topics
Educate customers on changing market trends and technology and impact to their business
Investigate nonstandard solutions that will profitably satisfy a customer's needs
Expand customer understanding and use of Grainger's standard product and service capabilities

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of relevant EHS industry experience involving safety hazard analysis and mitigation, safety consulting or responsibility for overseeing safety programs
Bachelor's degree including the fields of Safety, Environmental Science, Public Health, or equivalent experience
CSP ideal
Experience conducting workplace assessments to prevent injuries / accidents and improve compliance
Knowledgeable of Safety, Health and Environmental strategies and practices to reduce or eliminate hazards and risks
Current working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry standards
Basic project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
A desire to help others
