About the role
- Provides purchasing support to factories by ensuring all required materials are procured in a timely and cost effective manner
- Assists in the management of all aspects of Graco’s global sourcing strategy
- Support new supplier qualification and new product development activities as required, to include supplier visits and audits
- Place and enter purchase orders as required
- Keep current on new market trends and materials information
- Support cost reduction, lead time reduction and improve inventory turns
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; Supply Chain Management preferred
- Up to 2 years purchasing or manufacturing related experience
- Basic knowledge of purchasing practices
- Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
