About the role
- Collaborating with stakeholders to collect and document project requirements;
- Translating business needs into JIRA issues such as user stories, tasks, and epics;
- Defining and managing acceptance criteria for project deliverables;
- Creating and maintaining user stories, tasks, and epics in JIRA;
- Assigning priorities, story points, and ensuring backlog refinement;
- Tracking issue progress and ensuring timely resolution of blockers;
- Designing, implementing, and refining JIRA workflows to align with business needs;
- Defining issue statuses, transitions, and automation rules for smoother workflows;
- Ensuring workflow compliance with Agile or project management methodologies;
- Generating reports and dashboards to track project progress, team productivity, and issue resolution;
- Using JIRA’s reporting features to analyze project data and identify bottlenecks;
- Providing insights to stakeholders based on data-driven metrics;
- Facilitating clear communication between development teams, product owners, and stakeholders;
- Ensuring transparency and documentation of all project-related activities;
- Conducting training sessions to help teams effectively use JIRA Identify areas for improvement in project tracking and issue management processes.
Requirements
- Proficiency in JIRA for issue tracking, workflow customization, and reporting;
- Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban);
- Understanding of JIRA integrations with tools like Confluence, Slack, and Trello;
- Strong knowledge of JIRA query language (JQL) for advanced issue filtering and reporting;
- Ability to create and manage JIRA dashboards and custom reports;
- Experience in designing and implementing JIRA workflows;
- Familiarity with user story management and backlog refinement;
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
