About the role
- Developing, maintaining, and executing automated tests at all levels;
- Designing, developing, and supporting automation testing frameworks;
- Participating in release preparation activities, including planning, re-testing, regression testing, and post-deployment support;
- Creating and maintaining all required test artifacts, including test cases, reports, and documentation;
- Collaborating closely with development, DevOps, and other teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software testing;
- 3+ years of experience in test automation;
- Experience testing backend microservices, both manually and via automation;
- Strong knowledge of C# and the .NET;
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
- Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and other software design principles;
- Experience working with large-scale, multi-threaded, and high-load applications;
- Strong experience in API and interface testing;
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems (GitLab CI, TeamCity, Jenkins, etc.);
- Experience working with databases (SQL required; NoSQL is a plus);
- Experience with Kafka or other messaging/queueing technologies;
- Experience creating mock services from scratch and maintaining them across the full lifecycle (development, deployment, CI/CD);
- Good experience with REST APIs and WebSocket protocols;
- Strong knowledge of the QA lifecycle and testing methodologies;
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum);
- Highly motivated, independent, proactive team player with strong learning abilities;
- Participation in release activities (planning, re-testing, regression testing, post-deployment support).
