About the role
- Creating, executing, and maintaining test cases and scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing;
- Developing and maintaining automated test scenarios to improve efficiency and coverage;
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects, ensuring timely resolution;
- Collaborating with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure software quality;
- Maintaining clear documentation of test cases, results, and procedures;
- Conducting thorough validation to ensure software meets quality standards;
- Performing performance and load testing to verify system stability;
- Improving QA processes, tools, and methodologies;
- Troubleshooting and resolving testing issues with the development team;
- Communicating test results, risks, and quality status to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience who is passionate about delivering high-quality products through manual testing;
- Experience in system analysis and design, including eliciting and documenting functional and non-functional requirements;
- Knowledge of microservice, monolithic, and event-driven architectures;
- Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases, SQL querying, and basic data modeling and normalization;
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, secure communication protocols (SSL/TLS);
- Familiarity with cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and major providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP;
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and DevOps tools for CI/CD automation (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform);
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (Agile, Scrum, Kanban);
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques (functional, regression, load);
- Experience in mobile application testing across iOS and Android platforms.
