About the role
- Own lifecycle design output across email, SMS, direct mail, and emerging lifecycle touchpoints for all brands
- Manage, prioritize, and project-manage the workload of designer VAs to ensure predictable timelines and high-quality execution
- Partner closely with Brand to maintain cohesive visual expression, brand integrity, and creative vision across lifecycle channels
- Act as the creative liaison between Retention and Brand teams
- Provide light copy editing and brand-voice gut checks
- Implement and enforce compliance-aligned creative guardrails
- Establish and document lifecycle design best practices, workflows, and QA standards
- Continuously improve creative velocity while maintaining a high bar for quality and consistency
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience designing for DTC, CPG, or consumer brands
- Experience with lifecycle or performance-focused creative (email, SMS, retention channels preferred)
- Experience managing junior designers, contractors, or VAs (strong plus)
- Highly proficient in Figma or equivalent design tool
- Comfortable reviewing and lightly editing copy for tone, clarity, and brand alignment
- Organized, detail-oriented, and calm under high volume
- Communicates proactively and collaborates well across teams
- Balances quality with speed
