About the role
- Create and commission new measurement programs and modify the CMM Calypso software
- Document and analyze test results and implement quality-assurance measures
- Lead shift personnel, plan staffing and oversee employee further training
- Organize inspection processes for new projects, including first article inspection
- Continuously analyze error hotspots, coordinate corrective actions and track developments with Quality Assurance
- Develop and implement measures to improve equipment availability and continuously improve work processes
- Prepare and conduct internal and external audits and ensure that related work documents are kept up to date
- Represent the department within the production network
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in the metalworking sector with further qualification as an industrial foreman (Industriemeister) or technician
- Several years of experience in the production area of an industrial company
- Technical understanding and a strong quality awareness
- Excellent knowledge of statistics and common quality procedures
- Solid knowledge of common leadership/management tools
- Independent, meticulous and responsible working style
- High level of commitment and ability to work under pressure
- IT skills (e.g., PIweb, ProCos, MS Office)
