About the role

  • Site monitoring to ensure the operation of all building services and external technical installations, in line with economic and environmental objectives
  • Planning and implementation of required maintenance, inspection, repair and conversion measures, including their documentation
  • Coordination of external service providers
  • Management of refurbishment and remediation measures for existing buildings and technical systems, in particular water-related systems and lighting
  • Optimization of maintenance processes and implementation of sustainable technologies
  • Assisting with acceptance inspections and warranty claim tracking
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial plans, including budget monitoring
  • Preparation of tender specifications and execution of procurement procedures for technical building equipment and building maintenance
  • Analysis of energy consumption data and definition of consumption targets within the framework of energy management
  • Regular data maintenance in the CAFM system

Requirements

  • Degree related to technical building equipment (e.g., building services engineering); or vocational training with further qualification as a technician, master craftsman, or Facility Management specialist (Fachwirt), or equivalent
  • Solid experience in technical facility management
  • Experience managing maintenance measures on time and within budget
  • Confident communication skills in dealing with service providers
  • Proficient user of common MS Office applications
  • Experience using CAFM systems
