About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Receive 3D laser scanning raw data from field capture
Register and process laser scanning point clouds into robust, dimensionally precise, easy-to-use data sets
Use point cloud software to register raw scan data into usable point clouds
Perform QA/QC on point cloud registrations for accuracy and precision
Align point clouds to specific coordinates or existing client models
Assist the Mapping and Modeling team through post-processing stages
Engage with project managers and clients throughout projects
Ensure on-time completion, quality, and client satisfaction
Communicate project and client status and expectations internally and externally
Keep company ERP systems updated with project information and status
Research industry trends and competition
Maintain an up-to-date electronic schedule/calendar
Work independently and collaboratively on projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma required
Ability to read blueprints and architectural drawings
Strong computer literacy and comfort with various software and tools
Systematic approach to tasks and projects
Keen attention to detail
Strong technical skills and aptitude for understanding complex systems
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Independent responsibility for tasks and projects
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively and seek help when needed
Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
Advanced knowledge of Autodesk and Leica products preferred
Experience with laser scanning and/or processing scan data preferred
Understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods preferred
