About the role

  • Develop clear, concise, and engaging scripts for educational and training videos, aligned with defined learning objectives and corporate guidelines.
  • Translate complex technical and behavioral topics into accessible, audience-appropriate narratives.
  • Apply storytelling techniques and narrative structures to improve learner engagement and information retention.
  • Incorporate educational methodologies such as learning pills, microlearning, nanolearning, and other short-format learning approaches.
  • Research, analyze, and synthesize technical and educational information provided by subject matter experts and clients.
  • Identify training needs, audience profiles, and learning goals to ensure scripts meet instructional requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with instructional designers, content developers, videographers, and video editors to ensure scripts are feasible and effective.
  • Participate in planning sessions, creative workshops, and brainstorming meetings.
  • Revise and refine scripts based on feedback from reviewers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all scripts comply with company guidelines, as well as inclusion, accessibility, and non-ableist communication standards.
  • Guarantee that all content is culturally sensitive and appropriate for the target audience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, Literature, Advertising, Film, Audiovisual Studies, or related fields.
  • Previous experience writing scripts for educational or training videos.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information into engaging narratives.
  • Strong command of grammar, structure, and written communication.
  • Solid understanding of storytelling techniques and narrative frameworks.
  • Knowledge of educational methodologies is desirable.
  • Familiarity with technical training video scripting is a plus.
