About the role
- Delivers sales process, customer and product knowledge- and skill-based instruction, including certification, tactical, product launch and tailored programs.
- Consults with dealership management, region and area teams to assess learning gaps and identify training needs. Proposes learning solutions and offers additional perspective as needed to resolve performance problems.
- Creates training plans and schedules that consider the needs of dealers and markets. Customizes training content to dealership needs using sound instructional design principles.
- Assists with onboarding of new dealership employees via delivery of the Audi Brand Experience course as well as through individualized coaching. Evaluates new hire readiness and provides additional training opportunities as needed to maximize employee retention.
- Plans and executes training programs including vehicle launches and immersive driving experiences.
- Uses a variety of facilitation and training methodologies to achieve learning outcomes. Provides timely feedback and coaching during training activities, and as needed to improve learner performance.
- Conducts evaluation of learning programs. Monitors and revises training programs based on end user feedback and impact to dealer performance.
- Participates as a subject matter expert in program design and development with the Sales Account Team. Assists in the determination of core competencies for Audi Brand Specialists and Sales Managers.
- Monitors progress of assigned dealers toward certification goals. Communicates status of certification targets to area teams and dealer management.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of training and facilitation experience in a variety of formats (virtual, on the job and classroom)
- Bachelor Degree - B.A., B.S
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience – Automotive retail, hospitality and/or Customer Care
- Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design process
- Effective time management skills
- Personal computer skills in the major Office applications: PowerPoint, Word, Excel
- Prior experience in instructional design & curriculum development (Desired)
- Master’s Degree – Instructional Design or Education (Desired)
- Use of web-development programs such as Articulate Storyline/Rise (Desired)
- Audi product knowledge (Desired)
- Dealership process diagnostic abilities (Desired)
- Budget management experience (Desired)
