About the role
- Drive Agile / Scrum Execution — Act as Product Manager by maintaining a prioritized backlog, leading sprint ceremonies, and keeping delivery velocity on track.
- Plan & Track Project Timelines — Build release plans, manage cross-functional dependencies, and surface risks early with clear mitigation options.
- Lead Customer Implementations & Feedback Loops — Orchestrate pilots, coordinate training, and iterate features based on real-world call-taker feedback.
- Champion Data-Driven Decision Making — Define KPIs (e.g., call-handling time, AI adoption rate), instrument product analytics, and adapt the roadmap based on measurable outcomes.
- Ensure Compliance & Security Alignment — Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure products remain CJIS- and SOC 2-compliant.
- Collaborate on Go-to-Market & Support Enablement — Provide product expertise for marketing, sales, and support collateral, and brief internal teams ahead of each release.
- Foster a High-Performance Team Culture — Promote proactive communication, celebrate wins, and continually refine processes to improve predictability and team satisfaction.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in product management or closely related product leadership roles
- Demonstrated experience owning complex, customer-facing software products from discovery through delivery
- Deep hands-on experience working with Agile/Scrum teams and serving as Product Manager when needed
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize backlogs, lead sprint ceremonies, and maintain predictable delivery velocity
- Strong experience building and managing release plans, timelines, and cross-functional dependencies
- Track record of leading customer implementations, pilots, or phased rollouts in production environments
- Advanced ability to define, monitor, and act on KPIs to drive roadmap and delivery decisions
- Experience operating in regulated or compliance-driven environments (e.g., CJIS, SOC 2, FedRAMP, HIPAA, or similar)
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills, including collaboration with engineering, security, infrastructure, sales, and support teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level communication
- Must pass FBI fingerprint and background check in multiple states.
