About the role

  • Support the development and implementation of IMT Governance Frameworks: Lead the design and implementation of robust IMT governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, legislative requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Provide strategic advice: Collaborate with stakeholders, offering recommendations to optimize IMT governance practices and align them with business objectives.
  • Policy development and compliance: Develop and maintain IMT policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational requirements. Monitor and assess adherence to these policies across the organization.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive consensus on IMT governance initiatives.
  • Risk management and assurance: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to IMT governance, while also providing assurance that governance structures meet organizational needs.
  • Data-driven decision making: Use analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of governance policies and frameworks, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Innovation and continuous improvement: Stay ahead of emerging trends in IMT governance and drive innovation by incorporating new technologies, methodologies, and practices into the organization’s IMT strategy.
  • Training and awareness: Promote awareness and understanding of IMT governance policies, frameworks, and practices across the organization through training and communication initiatives.

Requirements

  • University graduation in Public Administration, Law, Political Science, Business Administration, Information management, Information Technology or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years progressively responsible related experience in areas such as strategic planning, governance, business intelligence and reporting, policy development, legislative compliance, project management, process improvement, or stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in strategic planning and governance.
  • Experience in Project management.
  • Experience working on comprehensive documents, technical and status reports, briefings, etc.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience working with or across government departments, public sector agencies, or inter-jurisdictional bodies.
  • Ability to use records management systems and collaborative tools like SharePoint.
  • Comfort handling confidential information and working in environments where discretion is essential.
