About the role
- Lead a team to advance policies and initiatives promoting mental health and inclusive education.
- Develop and implement policies fostering safe and caring learning environments.
- Conduct research to identify issues and trends impacting education policy.
- Manage and mentor staff in a high-performing environment.
- Represent the ministry on provincial and national committees regarding student mental health.
Requirements
- University graduation in Education, Public Policy, Public Administration, or in a related field.
- Four (4) years progressively responsible experience.
- Experience in program evaluation and data management.
- Experience in developing and implementing stakeholder engagements.
- Experience in developing analysis, reports, briefing notes, and policy options.
- Strong decision-making abilities.
- Experience leading a team of policy professionals.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a diverse range of audiences.
