About the role

  • Managing policy development, projects and related activities in the Education Supports Sector
  • Coordinating research and analysis activities to support current and emerging policy issues
  • Building collaborative relationships with stakeholders
  • Supporting development and implementation of comprehensive strategies
  • Managing contracts and external consultants/vendors
  • Leading sector work to align and coordinate ministry initiatives

Requirements

  • University graduation in Education, Public Policy, Public Administration, or related field
  • Three (3) years progressively responsible experience
  • Significant knowledge and experience in policy development
  • Experience in program evaluation and data management
  • Experience in developing and implementing stakeholder engagements
  • Experience in developing analysis, reports, briefing notes, and policy options
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong decision-making abilities
  • Experience leading a team of policy professionals
