About the role
- Conduct evaluation of software/systems activities including requirements, design, development, documentation, integration, test, verification and validation
- Define measures to ensure product quality and develop operating criteria for software/system quality programs
- Review software/systems design, change specifications, and plans against contractual and process requirements
- Provide or direct verification and validation of software system requirements, traceability, and testability
- Develop, publish, and implement test plans for complex, multi-tier, distributed applications throughout the full lifecycle
- Develop automated testing systems using commercial tools, scripts and data sets
- Participate in functional, regression, load and system testing and assure defect resolution with developers/engineers
- Develop response strategies and processes for critical/security vulnerability bug notifications and proactively investigate security holes and attack vectors
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or commensurate experience) with 8+ years experience
- VA experience in CCSS contract
- UI Testing experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance
- Experience developing automated testing systems using commercial tools, scripts, and data sets
- Experience with functional, regression, load, and system testing
- Experience with verification and validation, requirements traceability, and testability
- Experience developing test plans for complex, multi-tier, distributed applications
- Experience identifying and responding to security vulnerabilities
- Must be based in the United States (position is remote within the U.S.)
