About the role

Manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot, and support servers and storage systems for program and its customers
Work with existing OS and Storage teams to manage mixed and growing environment of various storage hardware
Assist with implementing new system hardware and software and provide input for developing local operating procedures and policies
Monitor ongoing operation of systems and provide utilization reports using existing tools to identify problems and corrective actions
Recommend, demonstrate, and implement technologies to expand, upgrade, and increase efficiencies to the current environment
Implement installation and configuration of backup software across Windows Server, Solaris, and RHEL environments
Follow and create Standard Operating Procedures for disaster recovery and repeatable processes

High School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience)
Clearance Required: Secret
CompTIA Security+
Computing Environment (CE) Certification (can be waived for 30 days after project join date)
Experience in Computer Science or IT
3+ years of experience in design, installation, configuration, security, and maintenance of highly available enterprise data storage systems
3+ years' experience maintain storage and network policies and standards
3+ years' experience refreshing data from one environment to another at the request of the application development staff
3+ years' experience creating, maintaining, following Standard Operating Procedures for repeatable processes, disaster recovery, and common problem resolution
3+ years' experience with MS-Windows, Solaris, and RHEL/OEL Linux environments
3+ years’ experience administering applicable storage networks
3+ years' experience with VMWare 7.x or greater
3+ years' experience with network communication (IP based)
Installation and configuration experience of backup SW with Windows Server 2019, Solaris 11, RedHat Enterprise Linux 7 and higher
Experience with both Windows Powershell and Bash shell scripting
Strong CLI skills
Strong interpersonal skills and willing to be a team player
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science
Preferred: 3+ years’ experience supporting Cybersecurity patch management and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), SRG, RMF, SCA-V, and Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments (CORA)
