About the role
- Configure, deploy, and maintain Zscaler solutions (ZIA, ZPA) in line with security and access policies
- Contribute to automation of routine Zscaler administrative tasks using scripting (Python or PowerShell) and Zscaler APIs
- Integrate Zscaler with identity providers (e.g., Azure AD, Okta), implementing SSO, SCIM, and MFA
- Implement and manage user/group provisioning and policy assignments within Zscaler and associated IAM platforms
- Monitor and troubleshoot user access, connectivity, and security configuration issues; escalate as needed
- Participate in audits, compliance checks, and security/IAM reporting for the Zscaler environment
- Collaborate with networking, IAM, and security teams to optimize access controls, policies, and user experience
- Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, automations, incidents, and changes
- Perform daily administration of Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA) including on-call duties
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or relevant field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Zscaler or similar cloud security/IAM platforms (e.g., Cisco Umbrella, Palo Alto Prisma, Netskope)
- Practical experience integrating and managing identity providers (Azure AD, Okta, Ping Identity), including SSO/SAML, SCIM, and MFA
- Proficient in scripting/automation tools (Python, PowerShell, or equivalent) for administrative tasks
- Solid understanding of networking protocols and security concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, proxies, RBAC)
- Experience supporting compliance and audit activities related to IAM and cloud security
- Fluency in English required
- Knowledge of French required for permanent positions in Quebec; French courses offered
